피의 복수 Shallow Ground

 

A naked teenage boy covered in blood appears at a remote sheriff's station one year after the brutal unsolved murder of a local girl. 잔혹하게 여자를 살해한 미결사건 1년 후, 벌거벗은 10대 소년이 피투성이가 된 채 마을에서 떨어진 보안관 사무실에 나타난다.
Now Sheriff Jack Shepherd, guilt ridden over the girl's murder, must confront his own demons as he desperately searches for the boy's true identity and possible victims. 여자 살해사건에 책임을 지고 있는 보안관 잭은 이제, 그 소년이 누구인지와 또다른 희생자를 막기 위해 절박하게 그 실체와 마주해야만 한다.

While preparing to shutdown a sheriff's station in the woods, the deputies Stuart Dempsey (Stan Kirsch) and Laura Russell (Lindsey Stoddart) are surprised by a naked teenager covered in blood and with a hunt knife in his hand. 숲속의 보안관 사무실에서 철수준비를 하던 부보안관 스튜어트와 로라는 온몸이 피투성이에, 등산용 칼을 손에 들고 벌거벗은 10대 소년 때문에 놀란다.
The boy is arrested and Sheriff Jack Sheppard (Timothy V. Murphy) is summoned by his assistant.
소년은 체포되고 보안관 잭이 호출된다.
While investigating the identity of the boy, Jack hopes to solve the disappearance of many people in the area, including his girlfriend. 소년의 실체를 조사하면서 잭은 그의 여자친구를 포함한 지역내 많은 사람들의 실종에 대해 해결하고 싶어한다.
When the identity of the boy is disclosed, the mystery increases.
그러나, 소년의 실체에 대해 밝혀졌을 때 미스테리는 더욱 커져만 가고...

보안관 잭의 잘못으로 댐사고가 나 사람들이 죽게 되고,
그 사고로 가족을 잃은 이가 아무도 몰래 납치/살인을 저지르자 원혼들의 집합체인 움직이는 '피'가
보안관 잭 주변에 나타나 당시의 실상을 보여주며 원한을 갚아 주기를 원한다는...

그런데, 1시간여 동안 보는이의 호기심은 잔뜩 자극시키면서
정작 어떻게 된 댐사고인지, 정말 잭의 잘못이 맞는지에 대해서는 일언반구 없고,
납치/살인을 할 동기는 있을지 몰라도 왜 그래야만 하는지에 대한 결말은 알아서 판단하라는 식...
제일 짜증나는 건, 등장인물 중에는 근본문제가 무엇인지, 왜 그렇게 전개되는지에 대해 혼자 알더라는 것.
그리고, 마지막 장면. 2편이라도 또 만드실려구? 쩝~
