버진 테리토리 Virgin Territory

A group of young Florentines are set to go to a villa that belonged to Pampinea's father to attend her wedding with Count Dzerzhinsky. 몇명의 플로렌스 젊은이들이 팜피네아[Mischa Barton]와 제르진스키 백작[Matthew Rhys]의 결혼식에 가기 위해 팜피네아네 빌라로 향한다.
Pampinea escapes to a convent to escape from everything that is going on and remain with her chastity. 그러나, 팜피네아는 바깥 세상에서 일어나는 것들로부터 벗어나고 순 결을 지키기 위해 수녀원으로 도망친다.
At the convent she meets with Lorenzo who thinks Pampinea to be the most beautiful but is unaware that she is there. 수녀원에서 그녀는 세상에서 가장 아름다운 팜피네아가 그곳에 있으리라고는 생각하지 못하는 로렌조[Hayden Christensen]를 만난다. Pampinea kisses Lorenzo blindfolded and he falls in love with her. 팜피네아는 로렌조의 눈을 가리고 키스하여 로렌조는 그녀와 사랑에 빠진다.

Pampinea sets out to the villa where she is to get married to Gerbino after he tricked her into believing that it was her father's wish to marry him. 하지만, 돌아가신 부친의 뜻인 양 속이고 믿게 하여 팜피네아와 결혼하려는 제르비노[Tim Roth]와 결혼하기 위해 팜피네아는 빌라로 향한다.

The priest marries them but then comes Count Dzerzhinsky to stop the wedding because he is the one who is supposed to marry Pampinea. 사제가 성혼을 알리자 제르진스키 백작이 나타나 자신이 팜피네아와 결혼하기로 한 유일한 사람이라며 결혼을 중지시키려 하고... Believing that Pampinea is Elissa he fights Gerbino and knocks his sword out of his hand. 팜피네아가 엘리사라고 믿은 제르진스키 백작은 제르비노와 결투를 벌이고 제르비노는 칼을 떨어 뜨린다.
Then Lorenzo convinces the Count to let him fight Gerbino by the well. 그러자 로렌조는 백작에게 우물가에서 자신과 제르비노가 싸우게 해 달라고 한다.(Earlier on in the movie we learn that Gerbino is afraid of heights when Pampinea was leaning over the well. 영화의 직전 장면에서 팜피네아가 우물에 기대어 섰을 때 제르비노는 고소공포증이 있음을 알았다).
While Lorenzo and Gerbino are sword fighting,Gerbino falls into the well and dies. 한편 로렌조와 제르비노는 칼 싸움을 벌여 제르비노는 우물에 떨어져 죽는다.
Pampinea ends up with Lorenzo after he finds out that it was she who gave him the kiss and they live happily ever after. 자신에게 키스한 여인이 팜피네아였음을 깨닫고는 팜피네아와 영원히 행복하게 산다.

한 여자를 사이에 둔 세 남자의 싸움을 유쾌하게 그려나가는 복카치오의 데카메론을 기초로한 로맨틱 코미디.
밝고 경쾌하게 흐르는 음악이 리듬감을 실어 주어 즐거움을 느낄 수 있다.
하지만, 수녀원에서의 일들은 (보기는 좋아도) 좀 그렇네~ ^^
