Full Synopsis
While SG1 attends the extraction ceremony of of the last ga'ul Ba'al, an ominous warning is issued...
SG1이 마지막 가울인 바알로부터의 추출 의식에 참석하였을 때 (바알은 '자신이 마지막 가울이 아니라면'이라는) 불길한 경고를 한다.
Ba'al explains he has a contingency plan in the event something like this ever happened...
바알은 이런 일이 생길지도 몰라 다른 계획을 세웠었다고 설명한다.

(There is a scene in 1939 where Ba'al arrives through the stargate and takes over a freighter carrying the stargate, while it is being transported to the americas by sea)
(때는 1939년, 바알이 스타게이트를 통과한 후, 미국으로 운반중이던 스타게이트를 운반하던 화물선을 점령한다.)

During the cermony, Teal'c and Vala spontaneously disappear... O'Neil is then killed by Ba'al, and the remaining SG1 team (Carter, Mitchell, & Jackson,) frantically dial earth to escape, while all manner of people and buildings on the tokra world are vanishing one by one...
의식이 진행되는 동안, 틸크와 발라는 자연스럽게 사라지고...오닐은 바알에 의해 죽고, 남은 SG1팀(카터, 미첼과 잭슨)은 토크라 행성의 모든 사람들과 건물들이 하나둘씩 사라지는 가운데 급하게 지구로 돌아가려 한다.

They go through the gate, only to arrive in the Cargo hold of the "Achilles..." the ship which was transporting the stargate to the americas in 1939, frozen in a block of ice...
그들이 스타게이트를 통과하여 도착한 곳은 1939년 미국으로 스타게이트를 운반하던 아킬레스호의 화물칸이었는데  얼음이 꽁꽁 언 그곳에서...
...Realising they will soon freeze due to exposure... Mitchell uses a block of C4 to blast a way out, but his efforts also dislodge the frozen ship from the ice, and they have to struggle to escape the sinking and buckling ship...
저온에 너무 노출되어 곧 얼어 죽을 판임을 깨닫고 미첼은 C4로 출구를 만들려 하지만 그 노력은 얼음에 갇혀 있던 배를 분리시키게 되고 침몰하는 배로부터 탈출하기 위해 사투를 벌여야만 한다.
While escaping the ship, Daniel's leg is frozen, and his boot freezes so he can't move.
배를 탈출할 때, 다니엘의 발이 얼어 버리고 군화마저 얼어붙어 움직일 수 조차 없다.
Sam and Mitchell leaves him & take off alone across the tundra discussing the paradox they find themselves in... 샘과 미첼은 다니엘을 혼자 남겨두고 그들이 찾아낸 역설에 대해 토론하며 툰드라를 건넌다.
They are picked up by O'Neil, (who in this timeline, is a special forces man...) and gives them a lift on a submarine that surfaces after he finds them...

They and Daniel Jackson are taken to isolation where they are inteviewed over and over again in a "24"-like montage... 그들과 다니엘은 격리되어 계속해서 심문을 받게 된다.
They all ask to speak to General Landry as someone who would "understand"...

(Retired) General Landry arrives, and grants them all witness protection, and new lives on the condition that they don't contact each other or take jobs in their various professions...

We find out Carter was an astronaught who died in a accident, Mitchell doesn't exist, and Daniel Jackson is a recluse discredited for his insane theories that aliens visited ancient egypt, and the pyramids are landing platforms for alien ships.
카터는 사고로 죽은 우주비행사였으며, 미첼은 존재하지도 않았고, 다니엘 잭슨 박사는 외계인이 고대 이집트를 방문했고 피라미드는 외계 우주선의 착륙기지였다는 정신나간 이론으로 인해 은둔상태임을 알게 된다.

(After a year passes,) Ba'al arrives with a massive fleet in tow, Qetesh as queen, and Teal'c as first prime... He appears to control all the Ga'ould.
(1년 후) 바알이,케테쉬는 여왕이고 틸크를 수석호위로 하여 대규모의 함대를 이끌고 도착하는데, 모든 가울드를 통제하기 위한 듯 보인다.
Qetesh turns on Ba'al during the invasion and the bombarment of the earth gate and the ancient weapons platform in antarctica is ordered. 케테쉬는 지구침공 중에 바알을 배신하고, 지구에 있는 스타게이트와 남극에 있는 고대 무기인 기지를 폭격할 것을 명령한다.
After witnessing the death of Ba'al, Teal'c escapes to a cloaked Al-Kesh through the ring transported.
바알의 죽음을 목격한 후 틸크는 공간이동용 알케쉬로 숨어 탈출한다.

Qetesh orders the bombardment of earth from orbit, and she leaves through hyperspace with the mother-ship... 케테쉬는 궤도에서 지구의 폭격을 명령하고 모선母船으로 공간이동한다.
Teal'c is forced to seek the japa-eye on earth to avenge Ba'al's death at her hands, as it is the only way he can beat her to her destination...
틸크는 케테쉬가 직접 죽인 바알의 죽음에 복수하기 위해 지구에 눈독 들이는 자파를 찾기 위해 혈안이 되는데 그것이 바로 케테쉬의 목표를 꺾을 수 있는 유일한 길이었다.

Sam and Mitchell go to Russia, where the second gate is... and arrive only shortly before Teal'c does in his Al-kesh. 샘과 미첼은 두번째 스타게이트가 있는 러시아로 가고 틸크가 알케쉬로 오기 바로 직전에 도착한다.
After a short stand-off, they decide to travel together to Ba'al's secret failsafe... a stargate and ring platform, hidden away with a computer to calculate solar flare activity, thus allowing the wormhole to travel back through time by passing though a solar flare...
잠깐의 대치상태 후 그들은 바알의 비밀 이중안전장치인 스타게이트와 원형데크에서 다같이 시공간이동하기로 결정한다.
A firefight ensues as Qetesh arrives and sends waves of Jafa through the rings... killing Teal'c, Daniel Jackson and Sam Carter in the process, leaving only Mitchell to traverse the stargate, and attempt to correct the past. 케테쉬의 도착으로 총격전이 이어지고 틸크를 죽이기 위해 많은 자파들이 온다. 다니엘 잭슨과 샘 카터는 싸우거나 다쳐 미첼만이 스타게이트를 통과하여 과거를 바로 잡으려 한다.
Qetesh arrives just before Teal'c succumbs to his injuries saying she will take him as first prime, to which he answers "I don't think so... I die free" then he drops a grenade to destroy the time-travel device, and all in the area...케테쉬가 틸크가 부상으로 죽기 전에 틸크에게 수석호위로 임명하려 했다고 하자 틸크는 "난 그렇게 하지 않아. 해방된 상태에서 죽기에..."하며 모든 시간여행 기구를 파괴시킬 수류탄을 떨어뜨린다. 

Back in 1939, Cam thwarts the attempt to board the 'achilles' by shooting Ba'al and his Jafa as they come through the gate single file...
다시 1939년, 스타게이트를 통과하여 "아킬레스"호로 승선하려는 바알과 한무리의 자파에게 미첼이 총을 쏜다.

The scene goes back to the "removal ceremony" on the Tokra planet where, this time all goes as expected, and Vala stays behind to help Ba'al's host cope with the traumatic experience of being removed from his symbiont, while O'Neil as usual, complains about being hungry.
영화의 시공간은 이제 모든 것이 바라던 대로 진행되는, "추출 의식"이 행해지던 토크라 행성으로 돌아가는데
자신에게 씌워져 있던 공생자를 제거시키는 경험을 한 바알을 돌보기 위해 발라는 뒤에 남고, 오닐은 평소처럼 배고프다고 불평한다. 
Carter, Jackson and Mitchell discuss what the ominous message from Ba'al was all about, as we see a picture of Mitchell, standing with the captain of the "Achilles" in 1939 taped to the inside of his locker at the SGC... 카터, 잭슨 그리고 미쉘은 바알이 했던 불길한 메시지에 대해 얘기하는데...화면에는 미쉘의 사물함 안쪽에 붙어 있는 1939년의 아킬레스호 선장(자신의 할아버지)과 함께 서 있는 사진을 보게 된다.

SF 판타지로서는 좋지만, 액션 어드벤처로서의 재미와 긴장감은 별로...
