Charlie is amidst a number of loving couples in the park.
찰리는 공원에서 많고 많은 사랑에 빠진 연인들에 둘러싸여 있다.
He parodies one couple by embracing a tree. 그는 나무를 끌어 안으면서 어떤 커플을 흉내내기도 한다.
A girl asks her beau for a love token. 어떤 아가씨가 그녀의 연인에게 사랑의 징표를 요구한다.
The beau steals a pocket watch from a sleeping man, Charlie gets it away from him and gives it to the girl.
남자는 잠자던 한 남자로부터 시계를 훔치고, 찰리는 그로부터 빼앗아 아가씨에게 주려한다.
He later gets it back and tries to sell it to his original owner who calls a policeman. 
찰리는 (훔친 시계를 되찾으려는 남자를 피해) (자신의 시계를 되팔려 하는 찰리를 고발하기 위해) 경찰관을 부른
원래 주인에게 팔려고 한다.
Many park visitors wind up getting tossed into the lake.

It was the first film directed by Charlie Chaplin.
